Greater Noida: Two persons, including a distant relative of deceased, have been arrested by Gautam Buddh Nagar police in connection with murder case of a 32-year-old youth, former vice president of Hindu Yuva Vahini of Gautam Buddh nagar district, who was found dead with bullet injuries in his head in Dankaur area of Greater Noida, on the night of November 26. Cops said that the crime was committed
by the accused persons in order to take a revenge from deceased.
The incident came to light on the morning of November 27 when a few morning walkers saw the body of a youth lying along the roadside a few meters away from Atta Gujran Village in Dankaur area of Greater Noida. Immediately, they alerted police and locals persons and the body was identified to be of one Sandeep Nagar, former district Vice President of Hindu Yuva Vahini.
According to police, the arrested accused have been identified as deceased's relative Rohit Bhati, a native of village Sakipur in Greater Noida and his friend Rinku Badhana, a native of Faridabad district in Haryana.
Kumar Ran Vijay Singh, superintendent of police (rural), Gautam Buddh Nagar, said that a day before the crime incident an argument broke out between Rohit and Sandeep at a function when Sandeep slapped Rohit and he plotted conspiracy to take a revenge. "During sustained interrogations, the accused told police that on November 25, both Rohit and Rinku met Sandeep at a reception party when Sandeep had abused Rinku when a heated argument broke out between them. As Rohit asked Sandeep to apologise to Rinku for his mistake he slapped Rohit at the function which he took as his insult and wanted to take a revenge," said Singh.
"On the evening of November 26, Rohit called his friend Rinku and they went to Sandeep where all the three first had drinks together and later both of them opened fire at him. The accused made it look like a suicide and forcefully left the gun in the hands of deceased," added Singh.
Police have recovered a .32 mm pistol, a Jeep Compass car and mobile phones that belong to deceased.
