The Delhi Police have detained an Afgani national who was found wondering aimlessly in the high security zone of South Avenue for the past two days. The Delhi Police detained him and security agencies are jointly interrogating him. The cops say that he came to Delhi on January 6 and has lost his belongings. Since then, he has been loitering in the area and hence caught the agencies’ eyes. It is also learnt that he was in India for neurological treatment. The cops are now verifying his credentials and would only let him go once they are satisfied.
