Chief Justice of India H L Dattu, who started his legal profession in Karnataka, on Monday assured the people of the state that he would never bring a bad name while rendering services as the head of the judiciary. ‘What I am supposed to do as Chief Justice of this country. I can certainly assure the citizens of this state - my Kanndigas - look I may not bring good name to you but certainly I will not bring a bad name,’ he said replying at a felicitation organised by the Bar Association of Bangalore here. CM Siddaramaiah and Karnataka High Court Chief Justice D H Waghela among others were present on the occasion.
