A 28-year-old married woman reported to the police, on Saturday, that she was allegedly gang-raped by six men, including one of her husband’s friends, at a rented room in Gurgaon’s Sukhrali area.
According to a source, the woman resides in Gurgaon Sector 14 with her husband. Earlier this week, one of her husband’s associates came to her residence and informed her that her husband was at work and needed her to see her immediately for some reason. He was too busy to come or call her up and hence had sent his associate (the accused) to get her.

The woman was convinced and the accused took her to a rented room in Sukhrali area, where he called five of his friends and allegedly raped her in turns. Based on the woman’s complaint, a case was registered at the Civil Lines police station and the accused were arrested.

Meanwhile, none of the accused involved in the alleged gang-rape of a 22-year-old woman from West Bengal was arrested till Saturday afternoon. One of the accused was identified as Kapil Yadav, whom the woman had reportedly met before.

On June 17, Yadav ran into her at the Vyapar Kendra in Sushant Lok I area and took her along in his car on the pretext of giving her a job in his office. However, he allegedly took the woman to an unauthorised guest house, which also doesn’t have a name, in Gurgaon’s DLF IV area. There he allegedly called six of his friends, who allegedly raped the woman in turns and then dropped her near her rented room in Sushant Lok I, where she lives with a friend.
