A 37-year-old woman was charred to death under mysterious circumstances after an argument with her teenaged daughter at north Delhi’s Timarpur area on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the police, the incident was reported by the neighbours of the deceased who witnessed smoke coming out of the window of their house. When the police reached the spot, they found a woman, identified as Yasmin, who suffered from severe burn injuries. She was rushed to a hospital where she was declared brought dead.
Later, it emerged that Yasmin reportedly had a fight with her daughter, Iqra (17), in the morning after which Iqra left the house and went to a relative’s place nearby. In the afternoon, the neighbours informed her about her mother’s death.
