Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday claimed that Pakistan’s ISI is promoting terrorist organisations and want them to act against Hafeez Sayeed and fugitive Dawood Ibrahim who is hiding along the Pak-Afghan border.
This is for the first time that a Union Home Minister has officially revealed the exact present of Dawood along the Pak-Afghan border. Earlier, there were reports that he is staying at Clifton Road in Karachi, while some claimed that he is hiding in Dubai and keep on shifting to Kenya.
While addressing a seminar here, Singh said during the meeting between the premiers of both the counties (India and Pakistan), Narendra Modi told him to hand over Dawood but it is unfortunate that they refuse to act. ‘But we are pursuing it and trying to build diplomatic pressure to bring the most wanted criminal back to India and strategy cannot be divulged,’ he added.
‘Pakistan says that non state actors are involved in terror activities, which is far from truth as ISI is promoting terrorist organisations,’ Singh said.
