The aim is to showcase a diverse and enviable suite of works of renowned artists from across the country. Some of the noted participating artists include K H Ara, Manjit Bawa, Paramjit Singh, Ganesh Pyne, Sharmila Samant, Akbar Padamsee, Ramkumar, Lalu Prasad Shaw among others. Each year, Art for Concern endeavours to raise financial resources for Concern India Foundation, a registered non-profit organisation, through this auction. With a belief that people have the power to change their own life, it aims to help the disadvantaged become self reliant and work towards helping people help themselves.
The proceeds from the auction sales will go towards the 270 programmes that Concern India Foundation supports across India. The support helps bring about a positive change in the lives of over 2,75,000 underprivileged people that include children, youth, specially challenged and the aged.
