Speaking to Millennium Post, the victim’s friend said Salouni was coming back to his friend Dihe’s place at Kotla after attending a party at another friend’s place at Vasant Kunj. They had left Vasant Kunj by 1 am. Salouni was accompanied by Nagendra Sharma (40) and Dihe Kaziihrii (25) himself. ‘Around 2 am, we got down from the auto-rickshaw and started to walk toward’s Dihe’s room. Suddenly a speeding white Verna car pulled up beside us, five to six people got down and they first held Dihe and started beating him,’ said Nagendra Sharma. He said that after that they got hold of Salouni and beat him up mercilessly. After running from the crime scene Dihe called up his friends but by then it was too late. ‘I was terribly scared and I ran away from the scene as soon as I saw Dihe being beaten up by those accused men,’ said Sharma.
