West Bengal OMCs go all out to help cash-short customers

Mr. Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra, General Manager (Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.) and State Level Coordinator for Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) in West Bengal, has once again assured all PSU OMC customers, that all retail outlets (petrol pumps) of IndianOil, HPCL, BPCL will continue to accept the demonetized notes of Rs 500 and Rs.1000 upto 24th November, 2016 midnight. 

All PSU OMC’s LPG distributors operating from the state will also continue to accept Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 upto 24th November, 2016, he added. 

Indian Oil Corporation (IndianOil) is India’s Largest Commercial Enterprise, with a net profit of 103.99 billion (US$1.5 billion) for the financial year 2015-16.

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited is an Indian state-owned oil and natural gas company with its headquarters at Mumbai, Maharashtra. It has about 25% marketing share in India among PSUs and a strong marketing infrastructure.

Further as a special facility to the long distance truck drivers, refuelling at PSU OMCs petrol pump, change for Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000, wherever possible, will be extended. 

Mr. Mohapatra advised that to alleviate the trouble of stranded Truck Drivers and helpers in Border areas of West Bengal, Oil Companies’ dealers have even undertaken providing free food packets and water to them. 

He has assured that Oil Companies are going all the way to help their most important channel partners in the best possible way.

He informed, that in case of any emergency and further queries, a special officer from IndianOil, Mr. Saibal Kanjilal, may be contacted at 9836732300, who has been assigned to handle issues on acceptance of demonetized notes from customers.  Mr. Mohapatra has also assured that the Oil Companies officers operating from the State of West Bengal will extend whatever help possible for the convenience of its customers of Petroleum Products.
