Air India said on Wednesday that it has no plans to mount flights to Vietnam in the near future. The country’s national carrier also said that it has not asked for any rights to launch flights to Vietnam other than to enter into a Code Share agreement with the local airline. The national carrier made the statement in response to the report ‘Government gifts Indo-Vietnam air route to Jet Airways, not Air India’, which waspublished in the 16th September, 2014, edition of Millenium Post.
