The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said on Sunday that it had collected the Rs.20 crore it had targeted for the Delhi assembly polls and said it needed no more money for this election. ‘AAP had set a target of Rs 20 crores to ensure that the party has all the resources to fight Delhi elections,’ AAP said in a statement.
‘And we are happy to inform that our donation target for Delhi elections has been achieved.’ AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal thanked people for the overwhelming support.
‘We don’t need any more money for Delhi elections. A big thank you to all donors,’ said Kejriwal. Any donations received now onwards would be used for future activities, he said.
