It’s getting better and better for Delhi’s music lovers it seems. More so, if you can buy your way into the uber-expensive Formula One lounge. Last year, it was Lady Gaga, and this year it is going to be Taboo from the six-time Grammy Award-winning group The Black Eyed Peas.

The American hip hop group is known for hits like I Gotta Feeling, Boom Boom Pow, Pump It [2005], Don’t Stop The Party among others. ‘Taboo, founding member of the six-time Grammy Award-winning group The Black Eyed Peas, will be performing solo with an interactive experience, blending his DJ talents with high energy dance,’ said an official release from Amber Lounge Delhi which is hosting the official Indian Grand Prix 2012 on 27 and 28 October.

‘Amber Lounge is an amazing, unique over-the-top event, and I love to be involved in over the top things — especially in such a fascinating country as India,’ said Taboo in a statement.

‘I’m very much looking forward to performing in India for the first time and to give something back to my fans here. I like to soak up all the spirit and charm that the country has to offer, and learn about it and its people. I just like to have an incredible experience,’ he further stated.

‘We look forward to an inspired performance from him at Amber Lounge Delhi,’ says Sonia Irvine, owner and founder of Amber Lounge, Grand Prix Events.

So get your pulses racing, not just to go va va vroom.
