Vyapam: ‘Munna bhais’ among six named in CBI charge-sheets

Six persons, including medical aspirants and ‘Munna bhais’, have been named in two charge-sheets filed by the CBI in two cases related to Madhya Pradesh’s Vyapam scam on Tuesday. The charge-sheets were filed in two cases related to alleged irregularities in Pre-Medical Test conducted by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board in 2009 and 2010.

In first case related to the 2010 test, CBI has named five accused including two impersonators, a candidate and two other persons who allegedly acted as middlemen. In another case, the charge-sheet has been filed against a candidate for her alleged involvement in irregularities in 2009 PMT exam, she said.

The charge-sheets were filed in special CBI courts in Guna and Gwalior, respectively. At least 155 FIRs have been registered by the CBI in the scam.
