Just after the oath taking ceremony of new ministersj, PM Manmohan Singh targeted the BJP govt in Himachal saying it neglected the state from development front despite of funds provided by UPA govt.
Addressing the gathering at Una, Singh said that centre never discriminated the state and funds were provided under different schemes but it is the state BJP govt which is to be blamed for lack of development.
Counting on the ties of Nehru-Gandhi family with the state, Singh said that Himachal has been always been the priority of the Congress govt and whatever development has been done was done during Cong rule.
He said that HP had all potential and resources to feature among the developed states of the country but due to the neglect shown by the current BJP govt, it has fallen behind. Asking the voters to trust the party Singh pledged to bring the state back into the track of development.
