The offices of the ministers were sealed and that of chief minister was locked by the officers of department of general administration (GAD) of Delhi government on Friday.
Personnel posted in these offices, claimed it an unprecedented move. Earlier, these officers were only locked but not sealed. ‘This has been done to ensure that nobody enters in these offices without the presence of senior offices as several secret documents are kept inside,’ said a staff of the minister.
However, the GAD officers termed it a routine exercise. ‘The security of the items and files placed inside is our main concern,’ said Neeraj Kumar, superintendent with GAD. The office of the chief minister is however locked but not sealed.
