In the past few days, a certain faction of MLAs have complained of negligence of their constituency by the state government. Defending Dharchula MLA Harish Dhami, union minister Harish Rawat reportedly said that the MLAs were fuming due to negligence of their consturency. He asked the chief minister to seriously think and sort out the differences over developmental work, which have halted.
On the advice of the CM, state cabinet minister Dinesh Agarwal was asked to take necessary actions to pacify the disgruntled Dhami. But now, union minister Harish Rawat is playing the role of mediator between state government and unhappy MLAs. Earlier, CM cautioned Rawat to check disgruntled MLAs in giving statement at the public forum.
The mass complain of certain sections of MLAs on halted development work in their respective constituencies is adding pressure on CM. This untimely statement can prove to be Achilles heel for him.
