Unidentified robbers loot woman at Rohini

In yet another case of day-light robbery in the national capital, a 58-year-old lady was robbed by two unidentified men who barged into her house pretending to be courier delivery boys at Rohini sector 3 in Delhi, on Wednesday.

As narrated by the police, Kamla (58) was attacked around 3 pm on Wednesday after two courier delivery boys rang her doorbell and she opened it. ‘They barged in to the victim’s residence, who was alone at home. They tied her to a chair forcefully and took away cash and valuables worth around Rs 20,000,’ said a police official.

‘When her son returned home at around 6 pm, he found his mother tied to the chair. He immediately called the police control room after attending his mother,’ said a source. Police is still investigating the issue and the unidentified robbers have been booked under relevant sections of the IPC, the police official added.
