BJP MP Udit Raj on Wednesday requested union health and family welfare minister Harsh Vardhan to withdraw orders of removal of AIIMS chief vigilance officer (CVO) Sanjiv Chatruvedi. In a letter given to Harsh Vardhan, Udit Raj said: ‘The appointment of the officer at the post of CVO in AIIMS was as per rules after taking specific approvals of standing finance committee, governing body and institute body.
