A two-year-old boy was killed in a road accident after being hit by a speeding DTC bus in Welcome area of east Delhi, on Wednesday morning.
At the time of the incident, the deceased identified as Anshuman, was going somewhere on motorcycle with his parents. When they reached GT Road in Welcome area their bike was allegedly hit by a DTC bus from behind. The deceased’s father, who was riding the bike, lost the control and all three fell on the road.
Unfortunately, Anshuman was crushed to death as he fell under the bus. One of the passers-by made a call to the PCR. The police reached the spot and rushed the victims to nearby hospital. While Anshuman was declared brought dead, his parents are still recuperating.
Police have registered a case in this regard and arrested the driver of the DTC bus.
