Two nabbed for auto-theft, police solve six cases

With the arrest of Imran Naim Ahmed and Mohammed Imran, Central District police has worked out six cases of motor vehicle thefts. Three Bajaj Pulsar, one Bajaj Platina motorcycles, one Esteem car and one Maruti Van were recovered from their possession.

The police said that on sustained interrogation, accused persons revealed that they had stolen this Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle from the area of Jama Masjid and they were going to dispose off the motorcycle, but they were apprehended by the police team. Accused persons further disclosed that they had also stolen three motorcycles from the area of Geeta Colony, Kalyan Puri and Shakarpur.

Accused persons further disclosed that they had also stolen one Esteem car from the area of P S Darya Ganj, Delhi and one Maruti Van from the area of Jama Masjid.

At the instance of accused persons, two Bajaj Pulsar, one Bajaj Platina motorcycles, one Esteem Car and one Maruti Van were recovered.

On verification, it was found that accused Imran Naim had previously been also involved in three cases of robbery and theft. Further investigation is on.
