On Thursday morning, three spy cameras installed in a washroom of girls’ hostel of a college in Noida created panic at the campus. These incidents show that the girls are not safe even inside the college campus.A day after JSS college controversy, two cases of molestation were reported in Noida and Greater Noida on Friday.
A girl studying in a college at Knowledge Park, in Greater Noida has filed a complaint against three students for molestation who have been threatening her for the past three years that they would leak her MMS.
On Thursday evening, all the three accused forcefully tried to pull her in their car from the college gate. When she resisted, the accused beat her up and fled away.
The victim in her complaint said that the accused have been molesting her for the last three years at the college campus. She told police that they even threatened to make her MMS public that was shot by them. When the matter was reported to police, they did not take any action. But, when a media person reached the police station, the Kasana police assured her to take action against the guilty students.
In another similar case, a PhD student of a private university has registered an FIR against a youth for molestation. Police have lodged an FIR against youth in Sector-39 police station and have arrested youth who is identified as Pawan Kumar, resident of Delhi.
She alleged in her complaint that on Thursday morning, when she had come university to attend classes, the accused reached her college and allegedly molested her in college campus. On information, police reached on the spot and arrested the accused. ‘On her complaint, we have registered the case under sector of 354 IPC and investigating the case,’ said Dharmender Singh Chauhan, SHO, Sector-39, Police station.
