Two men shot at in separate firing incidents in Noida

The first incident took place on Wednesday night when the owner of a construction company was shot by motorbike-borne unidentified assailants near Noida Extension. The victim has been identified as Sachin Dutta, who also owns a popular nightclub Quantum at Sector 18 in Noida.

Sachin, along with his private guards was coming from Ghaziabad to his residence in sector 41 in his Fortuner car. As he reached Shahberi village, two unidentified assailants came close to his car, started firing and immediately fled the spot. He escaped the attack with minor injuries. He was immediately taken to Kailash hospital. The police have registered an FIR at Bisrakh police station. Sachin has denied any personal rivalry.

In another incident, an18-year-old gas godown owner was shot on Thursday noon in Chithera village of Dadri area in Greater Noida.

According to the police, the youth has been identified as Sonu (18) who lives along with his family in Chithera village and runs gas godown in Chithera village. According to the victim’s family, the incident occurred at 12.30 pm at his shop. He was immediately rushed to Kailash Hospital by two of its employees.
