The victim has been identified as Narendra Kumar who practices law at Karkardooma Court. He lives at a first floor of a building in Geeta Colony.
“The ground floor was rented to one Vishesh (23) by a woman. The tenant was running a chicken shop there and Kumar had raised objections over it. The woman, Vishesh and his friend Tarun, allegedly thrashed Kumar over this issue. When the matter went to the police, Kumar registered a case of assault while the woman accused him of molesting her,” said a police official.
Both the parties were accusing each other at the police station during which Kumar allegedly passed some derogatory comment on the woman. It was then that the two policemen lost their cool and got into a scuffle with Kumar trying to pin him down. The entire incident was caught on CCTV camera.
