An Indian-origin senior executive at Twitter is planing to quit the social media giant next month, the latest in a string of departures from the company.
Baljeet Singh, who is Twitter's product lead in charge of video, joined the micro-blogging site nearly two years ago after more than five years at YouTube, tech website Re/code quoted sources as saying.
The report said Singh oversaw the consumer video product for the main app. A Twitter spokesperson confirmed to the website that Singh, whose title is senior product director, was leaving. The company has been losing a number of strong product leaders over the past six months, including Glenn Brown, an ad executive who was handling Twitter's video ad push and left in October, the report said.
