A tutor killed the mother of his students in Noida on Thursday, said police. The accused also tried to kidnap the victim’s son and daughter but freed them as they insisted to return home.
The incident happened in sector 12 of Noida on Thursday afternoon. The accused Abhay came victim Mira Rajput’s house in the afternoon when she was alone and slit her throat with a knife.
Her husband Sahib Singh is a production manager in a company. They have a 13-year-old daughter Pallavi and a 10-year-old son, Mayank.
According to police, the family was earlier residing in Khoda village where Abhay used to teach the children. But they shifted to Sector 12 a year back. On Thursday afternoon, when Pallavi returned home from school she found Abhay in the flat. Abhay prevented the children from entering in the bed room and then took them to his residence in Khoda promising them that their mother was there.
But when children resisted, he escaped. The children returned home and found their mother dead.
Police suspects it to be a case of illicit relationship as no sign of loot was found. The family hail from Bulandshahar district, while accused is from Bihar.
