The Delhi traffic police warned about traffic snarls in the city between 4 pm and 7 pm on 24 October, when hundreds of devotees would be visiting various Yamuna ghats in Delhi-NCR for Chhath Puja. According to an advisory issued by the Delhi Traffic Police, congestions are expected at all major Yamuna banks including Shamshan Ghat, Geeta Ghat, Purvi Ghat, Soor Ghat, Kudesiya Ghat, Shyam Ghat, Yamuna Ghat, Ram Ghat, Kali Ghat, Kalindi Kunj, Hathi Ghat, all Ghats of Sonia Vihar and Chauhan Patti.
