Union power minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Sunday awarded Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL) with the Powerline Award for being the 'best performing private distribution company'.
'The award was presented to the company's chief executive director and executive director Praveer Sinha,' TPDDL's spokesperson said.
'This award is a reflection of our commitment to provide a world class electricity distribution network and highest standards of service to our consumers. We dedicate the award to our esteemed consumers for their support and belief in us,' Sinha said.
The Powerline Awards recognize excellence and outstanding performance in the power sector in the fields of generation, transmission and distribution.
