TMC beats social media shortcuts taken by Oppn

The rigorous campaign through social media against Trinamool Congress has fallen flat as once again the party’s chief Mamata Banerjee has wiped out the Opposition parties by reaching each and every constituency establishing contact with the grassroot level.

Knowing fully well about their poor organisation, the Opposition had taken up the social media as an important tool to fight against Trinamool Congress besides taking help of a section of media to spread canards about the ruling party.

Paying no heed to the posts in different social media containing distorted facts about Trinamool Congress leaders and Banerjee’s government, she went on fighting to make people realise the incomparable development works that had taken place in the state in the past four-and -a-half-years.

CPI(M)’s state secretary and politburo member Surya Kanta Mishra along with his senior comrades had started making claims of getting 200 seats resting on the shoulders of “fake poll results” which were posted in social medias during the election run up.

It had left a section of common people confused and some Trinamool Congress workers in the grassroot level got baffled for a few days about the fate of the election. More interestingly, the social media has also helped CPI(M), which claims itself to be people’s party, to undertake its age old policy of whispering campaigns to spread canards about its Opposition. The Left Front and Congress workers had even used the media to make people believe that many heavyweight candidates will lose the election even when many other phases of the poll were left.

But nothing worked as Banerjee single handedly crushed all evil. Workers of her party had started realising that nothing went wrong and once again plunged into their work in full swing keeping all canards aside soon after she had put her steps at a particular constituency to hold meeting in favour of her party’s nominee. On Thursday after winning the election with a thumping majority, she recollected the moments when she had felt bad after listening to the volley of canards spread about her. Maintaining the cool, she went on repeating the slogan “thanda thanda cool cool/ abar asbe Trinamool”.
