Tihar Jail authorities file medical report of ex-MP Dhananjay singh’s wife

Tihar jail authorities on Wednesday submitted a medical report of ex-parliamentarian Dhananjay Singh’s wife Jagriti Singh, accused in a case of maid torture, which says that she is having gall stones and has only one kidney.

Jagriti’s counsel PK Dubey, while seeking interim bail, had told the court that she was suffering stones in the gall bladder and she needed to undergo surgery for her ailment due to her deteriorating medical condition. Additional Sessions Judge Lokesh Kumar Sharma, who was on a visit to Tihar Jail for inspection on Wednesday, fixed further hearing on 9 October.
