Three Maoists killed in encounter on Telangana-C’garh border

 Three cadres of the banned CPI (Maoist) including two women were killed in an exchange of fire between the ultras and the security forces in a forest along Telangana-Chhattisgarh border on Friday, police said.

A senior police officer said it was <g data-gr-id="14">joint</g> operation of Greyhounds (anti-Naxal force of Telangana police) and Chhattisgarh police.

The encounter took place at around 3.45 pm near <g data-gr-id="18">Jinipa</g> under <g data-gr-id="19">Tarlaguda</g> police station limits of Bijapur district. Apart from the bodies, police recovered five weapons from the spot. The dead rebels were yet to be identified.

None of the security <g data-gr-id="16">personnels</g> <g data-gr-id="13">were</g> injured.
