United Group of Institutions (UGI) completed its 63rd founder’s day on 25 April. To mark this special occasion, it honoured the esteemed principals, teachers and meritorious students of different schools, intermediate colleges of Delhi, NCR,Uttar Pradesh and Bihar for their significant contributions in the field of education and attaining special recognition.
The chief guest R.K. Khandal, vice chancellor Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) and the guest of honour was eminent personality of news media Mudesh Aatre, head sales ABP News were present at the programme.
Hon’ble Chairman UGI, GG Gulati graced the event with his words and welcomed the guests and Jagdish Gulati, vice president UGI Mona Gulati Puri, director MBA and head CRC shed light on the mission and vision of United Group.
Principals, teachers and students from J.P. International School, Holy Public School, Kendriya Vidyalaya Rohini, Notre Dame Academy, Lord Mahaveera School, Noida Public Sr. Sec. School, Khaitan Public School, Siddharth International Public School, Maharaja Agrasain Public School and many more were facilitated with award and recognition. Cultural programmes by the students of UGI made the event colorful with their dance and singing performances.
On this occasion Abhay Srivastava, Principal, Deepak Srivastava, Registrar, Swapnil Srivastava, Dean, all the HODS, faculties and students of UGI were also present.
In addition to the event, another competition event called Lakshya 2014 was organised in which Shubham Jain of Bawani Shankar Inter College won laptop, Jishnu Praksh of KV Rohini, won smartphone, Shubham Kumar of Ramdev Sr. Sec School No.2 won play station, Neha Singh student of Ursuline Convent School Greater Noida won tablet, and Kishan Kumar won smartphone.
Moreover in a lucky draw Abhishek Gosain of KV Masjid Moth Delhi won 1st prize of laptop, Lakshay of KV No 3, won PSP as 2nd prize and 20 more students won several prizes.
