Actor Benedict Cumberbatch says The Imitation Game script ‘struck a chord’ with him and he wanted to play the role of the mathematician Alan Turing.  “I first learned about The Imitation Game when I was filming Star Trek. I basically kept a track of the project and that, perhaps, is the only time I have done something like this to get and want a role. There was some thing about the script that really struck a chord with me,” he said.
