An eight-member delegation from Delhi University met President Pranab Mukherjee seeking his intervention in the implementation of the four year undergraduate programme from the current academic year.
The delegation comprised of Shaswati Mazumdar, Nandita Narain, Abha Dev Habib and Shabnam Hashmi. The delegates submitted a memorandum to the President and also quoted and submitted the relevant provisions of the Delhi University Act under which the President as visitor of Delhi University could intervene in the matter.
