Delhi chief minister Shiela Dikshit is likely to announce a bonanza for government schools teachers on Thursday in Thyagraj Stadium on the occasion of Teacher’s Day. The Delhi cabinet has approved a lot of measures for the benefit of teachers.
‘The services of experienced teachers will prove a milestone for the students of Delhi such as development in Metro, flyovers, roads and society,’ said senior Congress MLA and teacher’s leader Dr Bijender Snigh.
Singh led a delegation of hundreds of teachers who thanked the chief minister for raising retirement age from 62 years to 65 years.
