Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood breaks Vevo record

Singer Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood garnered 20.1 million views in just 24 hours, setting a new record on video-hosting service Vevo.

The action-packed music video, guest-starring talents like Cindy Crawford and Ellen Pompeo and Mariska Hargitay, among others, was released at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday following much social media hype, read a statement.

Swift has left behind Nicki Minaj, who formerly held the title for Anaconda back in August 2014 with 19.6 million views. Swift took to her official Twitter account to share the news, sending out a special “Thank you” to those involved. 

“Thank you SO much @SerayahLove @jessicaalba @GiGiHadid @CindyCrawford @EllenPompeo @elliegoulding #24hrVevoRecord,” Swift tweeted.
