Leader of opposition in Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday released the revised edition of A Tale of Two Drops, a book based on polio eradication campaign and strategy in India written by BJP’s chief ministerial candidate Harsha Vardhan. He was also the ex-health minister of Delhi during the last BJP government (1993-98) in Delhi.

Praising the efforts of Vardhan on the occasion, Swaraj said, ‘India, thanks to the Pulse Polio campaign’s sensational success, has already left the group of polio endemic countries. As of today only three countries belong to this group, namely, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Nigeria. India could well have been part of it had Harsha Vardhan not taken the bold initiative back in 1994,’ said Swaraj.
