Summers can be fun too!

Update: 2015-05-29 21:23 GMT
In the scorching summer, a break from the regular school and college means some extra hours of sleep and unlimited time to while around with friends and the idiot box. But as most turn lazy during the break, research shows, that an average individual loses approximately a month’s worth of reading and math skills in the summers.

India Habitat Centre organises workshops for children during summers. Ranging from theatre, to singing, creative writing to hands-on-activities and more, it has all under one roof for the kids of various age brackets.

With nine workshops lined up for the summer, India Habitat Centre has a full calendar of activities ranging from Art Appreciation with Priya Pall, creative writing workshop by Sanjula Sharma, theatre music and movement course with Saritra Vohra and Nayana Sagar, Shankar Mahadevan Academy’s summer course in music, storytelling workshops by Ashish Ghosh and Renuka Narayanan, theatre workshop by Barry John Acting Studio, quilled jewellery workshop by Mala Gupta, young magicians course by Prof Kamesh.
