ONGC’s performance is no less than the world’s best oil and natural gas exploration and production (E&P) companies, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dr Veerappa Moily said during the foundation stone-laying of the ONGC Green Building at Hyderabad.
The minister was firm in his belief that with ‘outstanding leaders like Mr Sudhir Vasudeva, in India’s energy sector’, the country would scale greater heights by securing much required oil and gas.
Echoing the ONGC Perspective Plan 2030, Moily exuded confidence that India, with energy charioteers like ONGC, would achieve self-sufficiency by 2030. The minister congratulated the ONGC chairman and managing director for conceptualising the company’s innovative Green Building venture. Moily forecast that the building would be a ‘pace-setter’ for green initiatives in the country.
