St Stephens College announced its admission schedule for the year 2014 for its courses. The admission will begin on 2 June along with the other Delhi University colleges. The last date for applying is 16 June.
The cut off for the courses will be announced soon and the list of qualifying candidates will be declared on 17 and 18 June. The college shall conduct interviews for 2014 admission between 20 June and 5 July, 2014.
Valson Thampu, principal of St. Stephen’s, confirmed the news that the mode of application like last year will be limited to online facility.
The paper applications will not be issued as an initiative to make the admission process environment-friendly as well as convenient and economical for applicants.
The candidates who will apply under the General Category will be charged Rs 50 for the admission form and those under reserved category need not to pay any fee for the applications.
In addition, there will be six seats available for applicants who wish to pursue Urdu as their optional language and Discipline II option distributed among courses in humanities.
Courses offered in St Stephens include — Economics English, History, Philosophy, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics.
The college shall provide a facilitation desk for applicants with disability which will be operational between 2 June and 16 June, 2014 (10:00 am to 1:00 pm).
