'My qualities not in demand at Bayern'

Bayern: After not being able to start for Bayern Munich in the last match against SV Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga football championship, a disappointed veteran German forward Thomas Muller on Sunday said his qualities were not in demand.

"I don't know exactly which qualities the coach wants to see, but mine seems not to be 100 percent in demand," Muller, who appeared as 73rd minute substitute in Bayern's 2-0 win over Bremen, was quoted as saying by Fox Sports.
The German football champions coach Carlo Ancelotti clarified picking up Spanish midfielder Thiago Alcantara ahead of Muller was a part of the tactics and it has nothing to be with form. "We tried to play the game using the wide areas more and to have more possession in the middle, Thomas didn't start the game. He went in during the second half and did well. It was only a technical decision," he said.
