The Spanish consul in Boston has been sacked as a result of his behaviour in the wake of the bombings which took place at the end of the Boston Marathon Monday. Pablo Sanchez-Teran was sacked by Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo for ‘failure to fulfill his consular obligations’.
Sanchez-Teran chose to maintain the usual office hours in the Spanish Consul in Boston and closed his doors just two hours after the twin explosions at the race’s finish line.
