Six-year-old kidnapped from home, found dead in Naraina

In yet another case of kidnapping and murder, the abductors killed a six-year-old boy on Friday. According to police, Ganesh (6) was allegedly kidnapped from outside his residence at central Delhi’s Ranjit Nagar around 9 pm on Thursday. Soon after that, the family received a ransom call from the kidnappers demanding Rs 1.5 lakh as ransom to release the boy. The victim’s father, Pramod is a fruit vendor near his central Delhi residence. Pramod had no means to pay the ransom money and reported the matter to police.Later, around 6 pm on Friday, Ganesh was found dead in a park at southwest Delhi’s Naraina area, with his throat slit. The case is being investigated, however, accused were not identified till Friday night. The Police is also tracking the number by which the ransom call was made, the senior official added.
