Singing is in Chopra blood: Parineeti

Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra, who is gearing up for her next film Meri Pyaari Bindu in which she has lent her voice for the first time, says singing runs in her family genes.

The 27-year-old, who was co-hosting the TOIFA’s main gala on Friday, added that her cousin and Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra, who has already impressed the audience with her vocal prowess by lending voice to songs like Dil Dhadakne Do from the movie Zoya Akhtar’s directorial Dil Dhadakne Do, and her family were “really excited” after knowing that she is getting a chance to sing professionally.

“Actually everyone in my family was excited because everyone knows that we all sing. I think it’s in our blood to sing. I think it’s in Chopra blood to sing so they were very happy that I was getting to do it professionally finally,” said Parineeti, when asked about the reaction by Priyanka and her family about her singing in the film.
