Chief minister Sheila Dikshit, on Friday, inspected the under construction Signature Bridge.
Dikshit was accompanied by the Chief Secretary and senior officers from DTTDC. Dikshit inspected the well foundation being prepared there and went up to the top of one such foundation to take an overview of entire project.
She interacted with the executives of the construction company and they assured that most of the construction work will be completed by June 2013 and the bridge would be commissioned by December 2013. She also gave some instructions to the company.
The estimated cost of the bridge is Rs 1,131 crore.
