‘It is our duty to bury all differences (within the party) and make sure that he (Rahul Gandhi) becomes the PM of India... he is working very hard,’ Dikshit said. Congress general secretaries Shakeel Ahmed and Janardan Dwivedi, along with Delhi Congress chief JP Agarwal shared the dais with Dikshit.
The erstwhile faction-ridden Delhi Congress on Thursday put up a united front with Dikshit and party chief Jai Prakash Agarwal calling the differences in the organisation an internal matter. Led by Dikshit and Agarwal, the Congress is set to go to assembly polls in Nov 2013. ‘There are times when thoughts of each other do not match. Differences in the party is a family matter and it will remain a family matter. We must forget the difference among us and prepare ourselves to go for the battle (assembly elections),’ Dikshit said here.

Agarwal, whose has been at loggerheads with Diskhit for a long time, heaped praises on Dikshit, calling her one of the few powerful persons of the country.
