Commuters going towards Sarai Kale Khan via Barapulla flyover from AIIMS will have to use Aurobindo Road and Lodhi Road for next two months.
The diversion, to be put into effect from December 6, were planned keeping in view the construction work on the elevated road from Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium to INA market, said Delhi Traffic Police through an advisory issued on Thursday. The Sewa Nagar underpass and Jagannath Marg will remain closed for all kinds of vehicles for the coming two months.
“Traffic staff shall be deployed at all strategic locations for enforcing diversions and guiding the motorists,” said Anil Shukla, joint commissioner of police (traffic).
