The South Delhi Municipal Corporation has decided to issue Health Trade License to vendors selling prepared food items on their stalls.
The move is going to benefit thousands of vendors and will open a window for poor people looking to make an earning by setting up a food stall in the city.
‘This policy will bring transparency and provide new business opportunities to the people,’ said an SDMC official. The civic body is also pressing for simplification of the procedure to grant trade licenses.
