The building department of the SDMC on Thursday carried out a demolition drive in Mahipalpur area and removed over half dozen major illegal advertisement structures along with their frames. The department also launched a major demolition drive against unauthorised constructions being carried out by unscrupulous builders in their areas. During last three days the building department has targeted 23 properties and has taken major demolition actions against the same.
