A misty, chilly morning was followed by a clear, sunny day in the capital on Friday with the maximum temperature settling at 22.8 degrees - a notch above average for this time of the year. The Met office has forecast a similar Saturday in store.
‘There will be light mist tomorrow (Saturday) morning... the day would be sunny and pleasant,’ said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 22 and 7 degrees Celsius, added the official.
Friday’s minimum temperature settled a notch below average at 7.6 degrees Celsius.
The maximum and minimum humidity was recorded at 89 and 32 per cent.
Thursday’s maximum temperature settled at 21.6 degrees Celsius, a notch below average for this time of the season, while the minimum was a notch above average at 9.5 degrees Celsius.
