Engineering wizard Saptarshi Roy has taken over as the regional executive director (East-I) of NTPC Ltd. He succeeds U P Pani, who after a sterling stint as RED, has been elevated to the post of director (human resources) of the company.
Pani will be posted at NTPC’s corporate office in New Delhi.
Roy joined NTPC as an engineering executive trainee on November 15, 1980, and has served the company in various capacities.
